Is there a way to preview svg files in Windows 10? I would like to be able to preview svg files from Windows 10. Is there a way to do this?
It would appear that some of the posters do not know what 'Preview' in OS X is. I think you should have given better examples of what you want.
And, no Windows does not come with a 'Preview' app, however, there are some very good ones out there. You can find them by using either Bing or Google. I am familiar with Preview (up until Leopard anyway) and all answers to OP's 'something minimal to open images' are bang on. Windows has built in photo viewer that is pretty nice for opening images and videos.
I find Office Picture Manager to be the most useful default picture viewer I always thought that Windows Photo Viewer and Windows Live Photo Gallery were originally based on Office Picture manager code - they have a lot of the same features and performance characteristics, or at least this was true a year or two ago. Since then they've added quite a bit more, and Office Picture Manager hasn't as much. Still a great deal of similarity between them features and work flow-wise taking the UI out of the picture. But yeah Office Picture manager is pretty good ^^. Is there a similar app for Windows? Preview is awesome on the mac.I just need something minimal to open images with on Windows.I think Piscasa or irfanview I agree.
It's great to have lightweight and speedy PDF viewing, and a pretty powerful image viewer too with editing features.:) PDF viewing is thanks to Quartz, I believe, so that's a core OS X feature. Which I think made it easy to stick into Preview. I don't know any tool as flexible and fast as Preview for Windows.:( Edit: Oh right, XnView is pretty neat.
I remember using that one a long while ago. I didn't know it did PDF too.
